The Spark

I was bound to get dragged into the blog arena sooner or later. After last night’s canceled Art Reception at Cummel’s, due to some technical malfunctions with the cafe, I needed to explore a better way to keep people informed.

Hence, here we are. As of yet there is NOT a rescheduled reception, but I am kicking around some ideas & some ways of offering some new images captured in the last 6 months. I will reschedule.

An interesting thing happened last night while I was standing in front of the locked doors trying to find a clue. I had the opportunity to meet a man named Pete.

To back track just a bit, I returned to St.Louis about 4 years ago and during a recent decent job was able to produce some of my collection of photography for the first time. To put some of my photography in context and tell the stories behind the images, I launched the “Photo-of-the-Week” back in February.

Whether found through my website or RSS, I was not certain if anyone out there was checking it out…until last night. Its kind of like running a pirate radio station, not sure if anyone out there is tuning in, but gratifying when you learn they are. As always, I greatly appreciate any comments, good, bad, indifferent, and I am hoping this blog will create just that…communication.
